Great food for a great price! Our visit today was quick and easy. On football weekends there is usually a wait. My daughter finished the entire Belgian waffle!
Great place for comfort food. The house potatoes are the best. Buttermilk Pancakes are the bomb, so flavorful. Service is great. Expect long lines but they will take care of you without long delays. Your requests are met with a smile, ease and sense of urgency. Love this cozy place in State College.
The place was SUPER busy on a Sunday, 9am. Service however, was terrific: attentive and friendly. Our coffee cups were refilled upon the last sip, our requests (milk instead of half & half) easily filled, food arrived in light speed, and prices are great. I had the California Eggs Benedict, which replace the meat with avocado. The breakfast burritos, omelette, and club sandwich were also excellent!
Great place to stop in for a quick bite around lunch time. It’s a must try. We were seated quickly, super friendly service. Our meals were out on our table and we’re super hot. Food was really good. So good we went back the next day for breakfast. We stopped back in town June 2022. It’s a must go place when we are in town. Breakfast was awesome again. Service was great and the food was on our table quickly.
Great place for breakfast or brunch while at State College, but expect to wait in line, particularly on Sundays. I had the French Delight which was French Toast with one scrambled egg and bacon. The French Toast was sweet and tasty. The bacon was delicious also, but admittedly, I would have liked it to be a bit more crispy. The orange juice I had was freshly squeezed, which was refreshing and paired nicely with my French Toast. Service was very friendly and helpful. They were a tad understaffed, but the staff worked super hard and were very professional. Highly recommend while visiting Penn State.
Loved it!!! Great food and service is quick! The food here is also not that expensive. I highly recommend this place if you ever want to go out for breakfast or brunch with friends or family.
We waited 10 minutes for seating but it was a busy morning for the restaurant. The staff kept us informed on wait times. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was great, I go the meaty omelette and potatoes and it came out hot and delicious
We are... very happy that we visited The Waffle Shop during Family Weekend at PSU. We waited about 30 minutes to get in. The service and food were excellent. We ordered blueberry pancakes, eggs, bacon with the breakfast potatoes. The waffles are amazing and the orange juice is freshly squeezed! Overall a great experience, recommended by our son who is attending PSU. I highly recommend visiting this location when at Penn State, it is worth the wait!
